STIR UP YOUR FAITH

Jesus said in Mark 9:23, “All things are possible to him who believes.”

I know a lot of us are believing for something to come, we are believing that our life will get better, we are believing that Christ will come soon, we are believing that we will get heal, we are believing that our hope and dreams for our family will come true.

The world will tell you “ to see is to believe” but Jesus is all about “to believe is to see”.

When Jesus went to His hometown in Nazareth, Jesus did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief. It says in Matthew 13:58.

Jesus would not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

We all know , the power of faith or believing. But what you need to know , is the power of unbelief.

Faith or believing is the bridge that connects your physical world to the supernatural world.

So, if believing or faith is the only bridge for you to receive your miracles and you don't have faith…guess what, the lack of faith or unbelief will keep you stuck where you are.

Unbelief is so powerful that you can spend the rest of your life stuck where you are, never growing, never reaching your promised land and never cross the bridge to see and experience the supernatural things that god wants you to have.

You will see, other people on the other side of the bridge waving at you, telling you to cross that bridge, because you are too afraid to cross that bridge of faith. For the bible says, if there is unbelief, there are only few miracles.

You see, God's promises is not yet in our hands, but within our reach. So we need to walk by faith.

Have you seen a bird with a mouth wide open waiting for worms to fall from heaven. (I have not , but let me know if you have seen one.)

We all know, that birds go worm hunting early in the morning because the birds believe that the worms are already provided by God somewhere, they just need to find it.

So, saying that “I believe” is not enough, saying “amen hallelujah I believe” is not enough, saying “ I believe” while raising your hands in the air like you just don’t care is not enough, because faith requires our action.

There must be a step of faith, we must walk by faith. We must be moving towards God’s promises because faith without works is dead. But the good news is that even our faith is weak, even we believe little, we can ask Jesus to strengthen our faith. As the man said to Jesus in Mark 9:24 “ I do believe, but help my unbelief.”

And when get honest to Jesus, Jesus will gives us the help that we need. He sends us the helper, the Holy Spirit, to reminds you that you are not alone, to remind you that the battle is not yours but it’s the Lord, to empower you in your hardest situation.

So, today my goal is to stir up your faith because there’s power when you believe. And when you believe, God is freely to make miracles in your life.

Remember this: “Without Jesus, you cannot. But without you, Jesus will not”
